Braintree, MA — Party by Design, an event design and décor company, has been nominated for an Esprit Award in the category of Event Design / Décor by the International Special Events Society (ISES). The Esprit awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in the event industry and are presented at the annual ISES Esprit Celebration in August to be held this year in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The event nominated for this award was a re-creation of the Historic Streets of Boston. During this unique educational journey, each participant indulged in the rich and varied history of Boston through the sights, smells, and sounds of the 1600’s, 1700’s and 1800’s. Guests experienced a traditional Thanksgiving supper at Plimouth Plantation, the quiet elegance of the Public Garden, the “first” public park in the US, and the rustic allure of America’s “first” lighthouse built in Boston Harbor in 1716. These destinations and more were all recreated for this reception through custom-built life size sets, large format banners, unique styling items and custom historical signage.
Winners will be announced August 26th at the Esprit Awards, an elegant black-tie evening event, which is the conclusion of the ISES EventWorld conference being held in Honolulu, Hawaii, August 24-26. This three-day event includes educational and networking opportunities amongst event professionals throughout the world.
